Program Information

Our Hairstyling and Barbering program combines hands-on experience with in-depth theory. You’ll learn cutting, coloring, and styling techniques while understanding the science behind hair care.

With our comprehensive curriculum, you’ll gain practical skills and knowledge in our full service salon, setting you up for a successful career in the hairstyling and barbering world. Join us and turn your passion into professional expertise!

Did you know? Due to regulations in Saskatchewan, before you can specialize in barbering, you need to become a licensed hairstylist and get experience working with both female and male hair services. In our province, barbering isn’t a standalone trade, so mastering general hairstyling skills is essential before focusing on barbering.

This program is hour based. You will receive 1500 hours upon completion of this course. This works out to 10 months, full time.

  • Haircutting (men & women’s)
  • Advanced cutting (fades, textured cuts, etc.)
  • Updos (Bridal, Grad, Editorial)
  • Blow outs
  • Curls & Waves using curling irons, flat irons, etc.

  • Braiding (classic, intricate, cornrows, etc.)
